About a year ago, we met with the executives of Crossover Solutions and discussed our vision, our passion.  We needed help.  The New Science of Fixing Things did not have the organizational structure or depth to institutionalize Total Performance Characterization.

In 2019, we helped a group of engineers in Utah discover why an oil and gas pipe inspection machine gave faulty values.  It took less than a week.

In 2020, we were called to help a group of scientists discover why automotive lithium batteries in China were failing within months in the field. The project was completed in three weeks.

In 2021 we were asked to help a company in Kansas that made large (expensive) rubber products for the agricultural industry reduce scrap from 40% to 0% for the worst failure mode on one product.  The project lasted two weeks. Another company quoted a year.

 

In 2022, a group of scientists had discovered a marker that is a precursor to a common disease.  The marker gives health care professionals the ability to counter the effects of the disease earlier than under the current regime.   Although the discovery was brilliant and exciting, the test results were unreliable. In just three days, the team had narrowed the possibilities to just one simple function. Several days later, the cause was confirmed.
